Nonbinary dragon with a ravenous appetite for danger and pain, Drago’s (DRAH-Go) is quite the beast. A lifelong acrobat, performer & educator, Drago has dedicated their life to their passions and continually seeks to level up their artistry. They are One of the very few artists who perform the insanely rare art of “Iron Jaw,”of which they hold the World Record for Longest Body Burn While Hanging from their Teeth. Drago has been a full time performing artist for over a decade, touring Asia, Central America and the US with their myriad of aerial and fire solo, duo, and group acts.
Drago is the owner and founder of SkyHigh Odditorium queer aerial arts school, hosting over 30 students each week, while leading their accomplished performing troupe, The Dragonettes. They are a core member of DAM Circus, and ensemble member of Vau de Vire Society, Twisted Windows, Kat Robichard’s Misfit’s Cabaret, Scream Queens Gorlesque & Ruckus & Rumpus Revival. With their partner, they are co producer of DARK Events, a seasonal circus variety show & immersive experience, producing 5 multi day sold out events each year.
When not hanging from their teeth or setting themselves on fire, Drago is a producer of Dark Ambient & Noise music. They have released 2 albums, Aliencantations (2017) and Dragon Tongue (2020), as well as some singles and collaborations. They DJ their music as part of the Dark Ambient Sound Bath and Sketchboard Figure Draw sessions in the Bay Area.
Some of Drago’s greatest accomplishments include performing Aerial & Fire with DAM Circus at Coachella Festival, hanging from their teeth 25 feet in the air over 20,000 people, collaborating with Vander Von Odd on their release of their original music video “MidNight Flight,” and being the World Record Holder for Longest Body Burn while hanging from their teeth,.
