Edwin Ahedo
Ahedoart, also known as Edwin Ahedo was born in Mexico City on June 24th, 1991. At age 15, he had his first experience with painting but, only after meeting Inocencio Pérez. His very first art teacher who taught him the basics of art and how to master the technique of oil painted canvases.
At only 18 years old, Ahedo decides to immigrate to the United States under political terms. He got settled in New York City, where for three years he attempted to get admitted into the Art Academy of New York. Unfortunately, he never was admitted but, this did not discourage him. He became 100% self taught, practicing day and night and it was in this moment he met Gonzalo Olazno. Quickly becoming Ahedos teacher, Olaznos style of surrealism combined with nudity largely influences Edwins paintings.
After years of practice and hard work, Ahedo manages to have his first solo exhibition January 2020 in New York. It was held where the influence of the Parisian school of 1920, is reflected.

Finally, in 2021, Edwin Ahedo created his own clothing brand. “Traffic Cone” became an inspiration for him in which he focuses on hand painting clothes and footwear with unique designs to make his mark. To this day, Edwin Ahedo refuses to quit regardless of any challenge, as we hope you can see.
